The primary mission of the Division of Statistical Genomics is to provide leadership and promote excellence in statistical genomics and genetic epidemiology research at WUMS.  The discipline of statistical genetics stands at the center of the BioMed21 vision, providing access to state of the art statistical analytic techniques, and developing new cutting edge models and approaches to identify and characterize the genotype-phenotype connections needed to make personalized genomic medicine a reality.  Our mission is to educate the next generation of scientists, to collaborate with interdisciplinary research teams, and to service the WUMS community.  If there is anything we can do for you please do not hesitate to contact Kristy Smith.

There are five main labs in the Division.

Everyone in the Division works on all or some of the projects described on the various lab pages.
